I'm thankful to be on the board of www.honorbell.org and to have been at the first funeral at the Pikes Peak National Cemetery in Colorado Springs, CO, where a Specialist from Vietnam was buried.

I'm thankful to play keys at Chapel Next (their contemporary service) at Ft. Carson. It's an answer to my prayer from maybe 15 years ago when the service wasn't there yet!

I was pleasantly surprised seeing my former Battalion being remembered in the 

2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team building at Ft. Carson, CO.

It's nice to have my own parking spot for awhile. :)

I'm thankful to have been in the Army for 17 years in March.

16 years ago today Chaplain (Major) Satterfield joined the Army. Thank you Lord, for 11 years of Active Duty, 5 years in the Guard / Reserves, and for surviving a year in Afghanistan, a year in Kuwait and 4 months in Iraq!
